But while many retail outlets will be looking to attract more customers, we must remember that, sadly, some might not make it and others have already closed down. Just like furniture stores, many DIY retail outlets are sure to be offering great deals as the warmer months start to come in and with more time on your hands as well as more time at home during Covid-19 this is a great time to begin planning your redecorating or spring clean for 2021. There are many great ideas this year and even the pandemic hasn’t stopped the interior design industry which has predicted more trends for decorating this year.
Some of the more popular trends include getting rid of neutral tones and swapping them out for more vibrant and natural-looking colors that are said to be linked to a yearning to get back to the outdoors after being cooped up for so long, which has been almost a year now for most countries which are still under strict lockdown procedures. Pitching In
Strangely, even though friends and relatives have been apart, the Covid-19 pandemic has brought together many families since they have spent a lot more time together by being cooped up indoors. This led to many families forming better bonds by spending time as a family in order to get through the worst and most tragic event of this generation and probably the next. However, one of the great things about the family is that they can always be recruited.
You might be looking to redecorate this year or have a massive Spring Clean after amassing so many clothes and items from your time in lockdown. Fortunately, the whole family can be recruited to help with this, and given that they are spending more time at home, the kids and especially the teenagers have no excuse, so don’t be afraid to rope them in and put them to use since everybody has to live in the same house, therefore, it is everybody’s responsibility to help out in their own way.
