They Can Get Dirty

They Take Time To Install
Contractors place tiles on your roof one at a time. It isn’t a process they can speed up easily. For that reason, you may have scaffolding on your home for a fortnight or more.
They Can Be Brittle
So long as tiles don’t experience any impacts, they will survive for a long time. However, tiles are brittle, meaning that they crack and break apart easily. Even something as simply as a falling tree branch can break them, leading to a leaking roof.
Overall, tiles are perhaps the best roofing option for most people. However, as with any material, there are both advantages and disadvantages.
